The route starts in the city of Dusheti KURKO WOODS at the base of Dusheti (950 m/asl), follows the fields to the northeast and descends through the village of Mezvriantkari to the valley (820 m/asl) and climbs to the village of Mchedlianti, from where it climbs to the northwest through the fields to the village of Mgliani KURKO WOODS at the base of Mglianisi (1300 m/sl).
 

From there, there is a view of the Aragvi valley (Ananuri monastery) to the north and the area of Dusheti and Bazaleti lakes to the south. Further, the road continues down to the village of Zotikian and through the Arkhala river valley to the Zhinvali reservoir to the Ananuri monastery.
